Vendor Management UX/UI

Compahive(Imaginary Name*) is a Vendor Management Portal that provides a complete end-to-end solution to manage vendor Sourcing & Procurement, Vendor Profiles, Agreement, Statement of Work, Bills, and invoices, and Payments. It is a complete user-friendly, secure, and authentic online portal to manage the outsourcing of services at CName(Imaginary Name*). This portal delivers collaborative tools and resources for existing vendors and enables prospective vendors to showcase their expertise for consideration in future teaming opportunities with CName(Imaginary Name*).

“Overall, our goal was to re-design the interaction experience of existing as well as the new vendors by implementing a Clear and Intuitive visual interface and data.”

Project scope

A web-based Vendor Management portal was required to re-design the experience for vendors specifically for an Education Service Provider(CName).

The various interfaces were intended to develop where the vendors were willing to provide their services to the CName.

The following interfaces were designed and developed:

Registration Interaction: Starting inputs from basic details to various conditional inputs/flows based on types of services and identity like company or individuals multiple interfaces and interactions were designed to get registered as a vendor for the CName.

Dashboard: It was required to introduce a new interface as Dashboard for vendors. Key analytical data and multiple actions required components designed to make the overall process fast, transparent, and easy to communicate with the CName.

Financials: Billing and Invoice management with payment status interfaces were required to design with all history and reports.

My Direct contributions

I was involved in project understanding, Information architecture, Empathising, Defining, Ideating, wireframing, validating, and front-end development phase.

There were 5 members assigned to this project and I was handling UX/UI design part and delivered well.

Design process and rationale

When I got this project it was clear that it should be specifically designed for Vendors who provide or are willing to provide their services to cName*.

I used a User-centered design process keeping in mind the Vendor as a user to put them Front and Center.

I used consistency in design with highly visual UI, friendly and action-oriented textual content that always kept the goal and deadline front and center.

Taken the least mandatory inputs from users and more apparent to back end data that user should not take pain to type this rather select the available options.

* Due to the Non-Disclouse Agreement changed the name to showcase the concept.
